Cesare Paciotti Fall 2008 Boots 13DALLAS, May 16, 2008 / FW/ — I know its still summer and you are enjoying your open toes and sandals, but, just in case you are already curios what’s coming up for fall in terms of footwear, check out the boots by Cesare Paciotti because they are to die for.

Stacked heels to stilettos, flats and blocks, even spools and platforms, Cesare Paciotti thought of everyone. The metro girl with country beginnings was given the woven knee-high boots that is reminiscent of the trellis.

For the modern day Marie Antoinette, the pink embossed knee-high boots with purple patent leather heels and cummerbund in front has the elegance and pageantry of Versailles.

For the go-go girl, the sequined flat boots will get her going the whole night. The biker girl was not forgotten either while the sporty girl was given patent leather army-boots that can actually be used skateboarding, if that is her cup of tea.

MILAN, May 15, 2008/ FW/ — Dr. McDreamy is moving way beyond his, Grey’s Anatomy role, but not at all beyond his McDreamy status. For Patrick Dempsey’s next staring role in “Made of Honor”, he plays the male maid of honor for his best friend’s wedding.

Playing a sexy successful guy, on a mission to conquer his best friend’s heart, he’ll have real women drooling in theaters around the globe.

For the May 13th Berlin premiere Dempsey was the image of perfection. Anything but the typical Maid of Honor, in a wool and silk Versace Tuxedo, Patrick Dempsey once again is McDreamy.

PARIS, May 14, 2008 / FW/ — Considered the world’s biggest film festival and the place where fashion and cinema collides, the 61st Cannes Film Festival opened today with Hollywood A-listers in attendance, beginning with Sean Penn who is this year’s President of the Jury.

Ford, Blanchett and director Steven Spielberg are expected to fly in during the week for the film’s screening.

Hollywood’s hottest couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in Cannes to support Clint Eastwood’s film Changeling, starring Angelina Jolie and being shown in competition.

Hayden Panettiere On The Cover of Teen Vogue

Hayden Panettiere - Photo courtesy of Teen VogueDALLAS, May 13, 2008 / FW/ — Hayden Panettiere’s Teen Vogue cover did not cause an uproar but the ‘Heroes’ star proves that you don’t have to be controversial just to sell a debut album. You do not even have to pose baring your midriff with your famous parent. You have just to be yourself.

“In Hollywood,” Hayden Panettiere told Teen Vogue, “there is no such thing as being a nice girl. Or being, you know, not messed up. If you’re not, they’ll make you that way,” she says — “they” referring, of course, to the tabloid press.

Known as ‘the Cheerleader’ in the hit TV series ‘Heroes’, a show that bridged the gap between sci-fi fans and soap opera aficionados, Hayden Panettiere has her head on her shoulders when dealing with her fame. “”Nothing is private,” Panettiere declares.

Having spent, by her estimate, approximately seventeen of her eighteen-and-a-half years employed by the entertainment industry, the Los Angeles-based star has had ample time to consider this conundrum. And of course, her mother who is a former actress and actually the one who got Hayden into the business, has been with her since she started in showbiz – as a baby.

Talking about her fame, Hayden told Teen Vogue, “It shakes you up. It’s like they flip your life upside down. But it’s opened tremendous doors for me.”

Hayden’s success — and the celebrity that goes along with it — does have its advantages. “The show put me in a place to speak for things that I’m passionate about,” she explains, citing animal rights as an example. Hayden believes that her work on behalf of whales and dolphins has significantly raised awareness of the cause. Animal welfare has always been Hayden’s cause of choice.

Speaking about fashion and how she developed her signature style, Hayden said, “I have the same sense of style that I did when I was growing up, but now I wear things that I might not have when I was younger, because I’m much more comfortable with my body. I’m definitely a jeans and tee shirt girl. I dress down and comfy whenever I can, which makes dressing up more exciting.”

Is there a certain look that she loves? “I really like to look polished. I love pencil skirts and flirty dresses — but I’m not picky when it comes to designers; I could find something great to wear from French Connection or Gucci,” she says. “I have a lot of fun dressing up and deciding what kind of look I want to go for depending on the event.”

With ‘Heroes’ on hiatus, Hayden has been very busy. She appears with Julia Roberts in the upcoming drama ‘Fireflies in the Garden’ and she just recently finished Chris Columbus’ ‘I love you, Beth Cooper’, a love story as the name implies.

She is also just finished recording her debut album for Hollywood Records.

The June/July 2008 issue of TEEN VOGUE featuring Hayden Panettiere is on sale nationwide May 20, 2008.
