Giorgio Armani Dominates the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards Red Carpet

The designer Giorgio Armani was not physically present at the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards held Sunday, September 22, 2019 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles but his designs dominated the red carpet.

Nominee Benicio Del Toro wore a Giorgio Armani navy blue two-button peak lapel suit along with a classic white shirt and a necktie. The suit featured a subtle tone-on-tone pattern. Del Toro was nominated for Lead Actor in a Limited Series/Movie for his work in “Escape at Dannemora.”

Nominee Anthony Carrigan wore a Giorgio Armani midnight blue three-button peak lapel tuxedo trimmed in velvet along with a classic navy blue evening shirt and a bow tie. Carrigan was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his work in “Barry.”

Nominee Peter MacNicol wore a Giorgio Armani black two-button notch lapel tuxedo trimmed in satin along with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie. MacNicol was nominated for Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his work in “Veep.”

Presenter and performer Adam Devine wore a Giorgio Armani navy blue one-button peak lapel tuxedo trimmed in grosgrain along with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie. The jacket featured a subtle tone-on-tone checkered pattern.

Chloe Bridges wore a Giorgio Armani black embroidered gown featuring sheer accents of tulle on the bodice and a black velvet column skirt.

Reid Scott wore a Giorgio Armani midnight blue two-button notch lapel tuxedo trimmed in satin along with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie. Scott is a cast member of “Veep,” which was nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Elspeth Keller wore a Giorgio Armani royal blue satin off-the-shoulder gown with a peplum waist and delicate multicolor embroidery.

Dustin Milligan wore an Emporio Armani teal blue one-button peak lapel tuxedo trimmed in black satin along with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie. Milligan is a cast member of “Schitt’s Creek,” which was nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Jimmy Smits wore a Giorgio Armani midnight blue one-button peak lapel tuxedo trimmed in satin along with a classic white evening shirt and a necktie.

Director Paolo Sorrentino wore a Giorgio Armani black classic two-button notch lapel suit along with a white shirt and a black necktie.

Daniela Sorrentino wore an Emporio Armani black velvet V-neck gown.

Alessandro Del Piero wore a Giorgio Armani black one-button peak lapel tuxedo trimmed in satin along with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie.

Sonia Amoruso wore a Giorgio Armani white one-button shawl collar tuxedo.

Ivan Olita wore a Giorgio Armani black two-button shawl collar tuxedo trimmed in grosgrain along with a classic white evening shirt and a bow tie.

Josh Dallas wore an Emporio Armani navy blue velvet two-button notch lapel dinner jacket along with classic navy blue trousers and a white shirt.
