Right on the heels of Milano Moda Uomo and Paris Homme and on the eve of Paris Haute Couture Week, Marc Cain had everyone meet him in Berlin at the train station where he wowed a glitterati-filled audience with his Fall/Winter 2019 collection.

Suits” star Sarah Rafferty was joined by Yvonne Catterfeld, Hannah heart jump, Joy Denalane, Esther pigs or influencers like Caro Daur and Leonie Hanne at the front row.

With the show titled “Meet you at the train station,” the Marc Cain Fall/Winter 2019 collection reflected “life” at an urban station – a pulsating place of chance encounters and the starting point of a journey. Different types of women show a variety of fashionable styles here – whether elegant business looks for the office, sporty outfits for the ski holiday, streetwear styles for the city or elegant evening dresses for the theater.

In the staging of the fashion show, the theme of the station was taken up in a modern, abstracted way. The dominant colors were black and white, complemented by rusty red accents. The backdrop of the catwalk was an imposing, stylized train from which the models got out and entered the catwalk.

In addition to the train, other cut-out motifs in the form of station clocks, lanterns, luggage stacks and much more contributed to the harmonious atmosphere with the specially modified Marc Cain ornament.

The fall / winter 2019 collections are determined by intense color statements and contrasts. Fluorescent neon tones used as an accent are like flashes of light, especially in combination with neutral winter pastels or beige nuances.

Streetwear guarantees zeitgeist. The break of woolly knit and lacquered surfaces appears very cool and casual at the same time. Tailored suits act as a key theme, black & white looks attract attention. Knitting also plays a major role in evening wear in elegant dresses and is perfect for layering.

Various animal prints such as Zebra or Leo create a duet with checked patterns and provide surprising outfit combinations.
