The brainchild of Miami-based designer Gabriela Emma Olivera, Khalama is a new line of accessories that expresses the natural and the spiritual.
“Khalama” is a Tibetan expression meaning “sky path”. Translating the intangible to tangible, Olivera created vibrant hued handbags and spiritual jewelry created from natural stones and organic materials including turquoise stones, lapis lazuli, amber, and coral.
Inspired by Tibetan symbolism such as the image of Buddha, of Lord Ganesh, koi fish, and lotus flowers, the new KHALAMA line of accessories is believed to be an expression of our path through the natural and spiritual world, and the beauty it entails.
