DALLAS, Dec 4, 2009 / FW/ — This holiday season, for Neiman Marcus it is better to give than to receive. Encouraging its customers to make a donation of $25 to First Book, the high-end retailer will in turn give the donator a $50 Neiman Marcus gift card!
A non-profit organization, First Book provides new books to children in need, addressing one of the most important factors affecting literacy – access to books.
Founded by the Disney Book Group in 1991, First Book has distributed more than 65 million free and low cost books in thousands of communities in the U.S. and Canada.
Neiman Marcus customers can now be part of this highly successful social enterprise by making a small donation of $25 to First Book during the famed Neiman Marcus InCircle event slated from Tuesday, December 8th 2009 all through Friday, December 11th 2009,
Customers may only receive one $50.00 gift card. However, if the customer would like to donate more than $25.00 to the First Book organization, they may do so in increments of $25.00. The card is for a one time use in Neiman Marcus Stores ONLY and is valid December 8th – 11th2009.
During the event, customers can also enjoy book installations and sculptures in every Neiman Marcus location in celebration of this partnership.
