Showing under the auspices of Concept Korea, designer Kang Dong Jun unveiled his Spring/Sumer 2016 collection at New York City’s Art Beam Studios on Tuesday, July 14, 2015
For Spring/Summer 2016, the Korean designer was inspired by the imagination of a lonely boy and his adventurous spirit.
This theme is represented in Jun’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection through the juxtaposition of dark pieces and vibrant prints and pops of bright yellow and green.
Colors: black and white with grey, mélange grey, green and yellow
Materials: cotton, linen, polyester, acrylic, nylon and rayon
Concept Korea showcases the country’s top fashion menswear talent – DBYD and Ordinary People.
Concept Korea is a collaborative initiative that promotes South Korean fashion designers by assisting them in their attempts to break into the U.S. market. The program is organized by Korea Creative Contents Agency, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea, the Daegu Metropolitan City, and the Korea Research Institute for Fashion Industry.
