DEAUVILLE, France, Sep 1, 2012/ — During the opening ceremony of the 38th Deauville American Film Festival on August 31, 2012, French actress Sandrine Bonnaire who is also the President of the Jury wore a Paule Ka dress from the Black Carpet 2012 collection.
Though better known as an actress, Sandrine Bonnaire is also a well-respected film director and scriptwriter. She began her career in the beginning of the 80’s and has been awarded in 1984 of the César Award for Most Promising Actress for her performance in the film “A nos amours” by Maurice Pialat.
Two years later, she won the César Award for Best Actress for the film “Sans toit ni loi”.
After a long actress career (she has appeared in more than 40 films) and multiple awards, Sandrine Bonnaire has beguns her career as film director in 2007 with a TV documentary. She also has been the scriptwriter of a film realised by Guillaume Laurant.
