NEW YORK, Sep 20, 2012/ — Last night, New York City’s “Little Brazil” temporarily moved to the American Museum of Natural History with the celebration of the 10th Annual Gala of the BrazilFoundation.
Hence, it’s not surprising that the Big Apple’s noted Brazilians are in attendance, beginning with Francisco Costa, Womenswear Creative Director for Calvin Klein Collection.
And for the evening, Calvin Klein Collection wardrobed Izabel Goulart and Zani Gugelmann. It goes without saying that each of the women’s looks was designed by Francisco Costa.
BrazilFoundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting social projects in Brazil. The Annual Gala is the Foundation’s primary fundraising effort to support social entrepreneurs in Brazil in the fields of education, health, culture, participatory development and human rights.
In ten years, the BrazilFoundation has raised over $17 million dollars and has supported over 300 social projects in Brazil. For more information, please visit brazilfoundation.org.
And for trivia lovers out there, “Little Brazil” actually exists in New York City. It is located at W46 Street between 5th Avenue to 6th Avenue (Avenue of the Americas)
