Vanessa Bayer Hosts the Kohl’s Live Stream Oscars Viewing Party

As a first time exclusive retail sponsor of the Academy Awards, Kohl’s hosted a live stream Oscars viewing party via Periscope, hosted by actress and comedian, Vanessa Bayer and designed by celebrity event planner, Mindy Weiss, using all Kohl’s product.

Viewers joined the live stream by following @kohls on Twitter or by following @kohls on Periscope. Guests included a mix of Vanessa Bayer’s close friends who participated in games during the commercial breaks, joined Vanessa as she shared viewers’ gratitude messages, and enjoyed fabulous cocktails, party snacks and décor from Mindy Weiss.

The live stream party was hosted as a part of Kohl’s’ #AllTheGoodStuff campaign, which celebrates the success and accomplishments in our everyday lives. Viewers and followers were able to participate in an interactive experience through Twitter and Periscope by posting their own “thank you’s,” questions for Vanessa (which were answered live), appreciation videos, and comments about the live stream and the Oscars ceremony.
