Frieze New York Finds A Friend with Mulberry

NEW YORK, May 7, 2012/ — Supporting the first ever Frieze New York, famed British label Mulberry has created a complimentary newspaper to provide information about this new addition to New York City’s art scene.

A part of Frieze New York 2012, the Frieze Projects sees eight artists create artwork or installations around the outdoor space of Randall’s Island.

The commissioned artworks provide punctuation points around the island, and give interactive access to art for all visitors through the non-profit generosity of the programme, outside of the main Frieze space.

Mulberry’s complimentary newspaper “Frieze Projects” provides information about the movement and background on each artist, as well as a map to help visitors navigate the artworks and Randall’s Island.

Frieze Projects newspapers can be picked up at till points around the fair as well as at associated New York galleries, and will also be given out with a bespoke Mulberry and Frieze tote at selected locations.

Visitors to Mulberry stores on Madison Avenue, Bleecker Street and Spring Street from 30 April – 7 May will be able to pick up one of the newspapers and totes in store, and they will also be included with US mulberry.com orders during the same period.
