On 13 January 2016, Eveningwear label Galvan, Opening Ceremony and Swarovski celebrated the new Galvan for Opening Ceremony collection with an intimate dinner in Los Angeles hosted by Swarovski.
Carol Lim from Opening Ceremony, Anna-Christin Haas, Katherine Holmgren & Sola Harrison all from Galvan and Nadja Swarovski enjoyed an evening with longtime friends of the brands including Jessica Alba, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Kim Gordon, Natasha Lyonne, Liz Goldwyn, Kelly Sawyer, stylists Meritt Elliot, Cher Coulter, Rebecca Corbin-Murray, Jamie Schneider, Brit & Kara Elkin and Erica Cloud and more to properly fete the new collaboration.
Guests began the evening with views of the city provided by the Hollywood Hills and enjoyed the intimate ambience created with Swarovski crystals expertly placed among flowers and champagne throughout the private residence. Attendees were then brought inside the home to toast the partnership between Galvan and Opening Ceremony before sitting down to a three-course meal with innovative local fare from Chef Ari Taymor of Alma at The Standard, Hollywood.
In-store, Galvan has collaborated with Opening Ceremony on a selection of Spring/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear pieces launching exclusively. The Galvan for Opening Ceremony exclusive looks and a first opportunity to purchase Galvan’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection will be available during a trunk show at Opening Ceremony’s LA store on January 14.
In tandem with awards season, corresponding ready-to-wear for select red carpet styles will be available at Opening Ceremony’s New York and Los Angeles stores in addition to online at openingceremony.us. Looks on and off the red carpet will have the option of being accessorized with jewelry from the luxury jewelry line, Atelier Swarovski.
