All sales from the bracelet benefit Haiti, offering customers an easy way to make a difference.
The Brighter Future bracelet is fashioned from tamarind-wood beads, a sterling silver dog tag and a Hamsa hand charm, and is adorned with gray diamonds and a single sapphire. It retails for $250, and has been be available online beginning February 24 at www.loreerodkin.com.
Sean Penn founded the J/P Haitian Relief Organization with the mission of saving lives and bringing sustainable programs to the Haitian people. Focusing on medical aid, protection and re-location, the organization began its relief efforts hours after the earthquake hit. They have since worked to effectively and quickly deliver help while keeping their mission in the public eye.
“Sean Penn is an old friend from my film business days,” said Rodkin. “I so admire his tireless and perilous efforts in helping the Haitians–they are so desperately in need, and will be for an eternity. I wanted to contribute in an ongoing way to do what I can.”
