Israeli-born jewelry designer Mirit Weinstock caught the eyes of the fashion crowd when she was inted to participate at ITS#ONE in Trieste, Italy, right after her graduation from Shenkar College in 2002.
She trained under Alexander McQueen and Alber Elbaz at Lanvin before she launched her own womenswear label in 2004. Seven years later, in 2011, Mirit created M(heart)W, a luxury crafts jewelry collection.
MW’s first collection, “Shuttlecock” debuted to critical acclaim. For Spring 2012, Mirit created the “Raffia and Twigs” collection which put her on the map of emerging jewelry designers. Her subsequent collections – Human Spine, Stardust, Clowns and Gardens, made her a name to watch in jewelry design.
For Spring 2014, Mirit Weinstock does it again with the “Eyelashes”. Using precious metals, Mirit recreated the eyelashes and then reconstructed to become earrings, charms even shoelaces.
M(heart)W is sold in specialty stores such as Colette (Paris), ZOZO (Japan), Anthropologie (USA) among others.
