It’s #SOS or #ShoutOutSaturday! And this time, we have Cynthia Rowley who came up with a different way to show her Fall 2014 collection.
“Fashion evolves at such a fast pace, and I’m always interested in exploring fresh new ways to show the collection. We shot the looks ahead of time so that when people arrived at the Diamond Horseshoe they had already seen the collection,” explained the designer on her Fall 2014 presentation was more of a party than a fashion event.
With Alan Cumming as the guest of honor, Cynthia Rowley presented a short film in an environment that was a visual feast for all.
Oh, there were models there; if you’re wondering. But since everyone had seen the collection before hand, it was more of a party atmosphere than anything.
Just in case you are interested, the collection, as described the designer herself has “a moonbow motif [that] runs throughout the collection. It seemed so optimistic, happy and romantic at the same time.”
“I describe the collection as sporty glamorous with bonded piques, embellished rainbows, stain leaf appliqués and bonded cashmere cardigans that are mixed with polished leather culottes and layered sweaters that are like puzzle pieces that fit together,” Cynthia Rowley added.
