The New Take on the Strappy Shoe

The New Take on the Strappy Shoe

NEW YORK, Mar 15, 2011/ — Spring/Summer 2011 brings a refreshing new take on the strappy heel with the likes of laces, ribbons and ropes being used as a more creative and fun alternative to the traditional strappy heel.

We’re crazy about these super sexy and truly unique Dora platforms which are sure to turn heads and these beautiful Loriblu platforms in chocolate brown and nude suede which will look great with a tan (if you can even remember what that feels like!)

These styles of Dora and Loriblu shoes are available at the Ruia Shoe boutique in Soho located at 65 Mercer Street, New York NY 10012. Opening its doors to the public in December 2010, Ruia’s mission is to bring Europe’s finest, most exciting luxury shoe brands to New York, mostly brands that have not been previously available in the city.

With the exception of Missoni, Ruia is the only New York store to carries most of designers in stock and, with only limited quantities of each style available, shoppers are truly getting the most unique shoes in town.

Designed with the shopper in mind, the boutique has a mezzanine level where shoppers can lounge on plush couches or browse the collection while sipping on champagne while any nagging boyfriends or partners can just relax and watch the widescreen TV – it’s a whole new concept of shopping.

One thing is for sure; Ruia is definitely not just another SoHo boutique!
