DALLAS, Jun 23, 2012/ — As part of the Jockey “Staycool” campaign, New York Jets quarterback and Jockey spokesperson Tim Tebow visited the MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida yesterday morning where he paid tribute to men and women of the U.S. military, honoring and thanking them for their service and sacrifice.
The event featured a private reception and a lengthy interview with Tebow at the Base’s theater. Jockey presented a $5,000 check to the Friends of Military Families organization of MacDill, an organization supplying financial support to military families in need.
In addition, attendees beat the heat with free Jockey staycool T-shirts.
Jockey’s “Hot City Cool Down” campaign will run throughout the summer with giveaways, prizes and special offers to help keep consumers cool.
