DALLAS, Mar 13, 2012/ — Texas loves denim and what a better way to celebrate the Lone Star state with a Texas Road Trip from March 16 – 21, which by the way will also serve as the location shoots of EXPRESS denim July/August advertising campaign.
Offering fans an array of special events, live concerts, product give-aways, fun games and even the chance to be featured in the new campaign, the “Tour of Texas Road Trip” is a spring break to remember!
Kicking off the Texas Road Trip during the SxSW festival in AUSTIN on March 16th, EXPRESS hosts a live music showcase from 8 PM to 2 AM at the historic Maggie Mae’s on Sixth Street. The line-up includes up-and-coming artists Tribes, Morning Parade, Youngblood Hawke, The Parson Red Heads, MyNameIsJohnMichael, and Quiet Corral.
Look for the branded EXPRESS TOUR BUS all over the state of Texas this month, as EXPRESS takes the fun and energy of the brand on the road!
On March 18th, EXPRESS is hosting an outrageous Spring Break 2012 party at the Isla Grand Beach Resort, from 12 to 5 PM on SOUTH PADRE ISLAND. Guests will enjoy complimentary drinks and volleyball games, EXPRESS temporary tattoo stands, EXPRESS photo booths, EXPRESS gift card giveaways and more.
Celebrity DJ Theophilus London is coming all the way from New York to spin the hottest new tunes poolside along with Philadelphia hip-hop duo Chiddy Bang, while street teams wearing looks from the EXPRESS Spring Collection pass out free drink tickets and VIP admission for that night’s EXPRESS-hosted bash at Louie’s Backyard.
Theophilus London will keep the party going at Louie’s Backyard at 9 PM to catch live performances by Breathe Carolina and Chiddy Bang!
Renowned fashion photographer Greg Kadel and a bevy of top models, including Magdalena Frackowiak, Alina Baikova, Ataui Deng, Ryan Kennedy, David Agbodji and Mihaly Martins will join Kendall Morris, Miss Texas 2011, for stops at SAN ANTONIO’s Riverwalk Park on March 19th and HOUSTON’s Tranquilly Park on March 20th from 11AM to 1PM.
The Tour of Texas will end on March 21st in FT. WORTH at Billy Bob’s Texas, the world’s largest Honky Tonk bar, from 9PM to 11 PM.
At each location, fans can watch the campaign photo shoot with top models, enjoy complimentary treats, visit the temporary tattoo station and have the chance to spin a prize wheel hosted by Miss Texas to win gift cards, coupons, discounts, and a variety of prizes including Express branded: Lip Gloss, Nail Polish, custom-made Tour of Texas Wayfarer sunglasses, Women’s Extreme Stretch denim, Me’s Rocco Skinny denim (brand new launch), Women’s Bow Front jelly flip flops and Men’s flip flops.
